Always Connected PCs are a 'dream come true' for students in South Africa

A new video from Qualcomm shows off how Ever Continued PCs help the Kwazamokuhle School in South Africa connect to the cyberspace. Earlier receiving several Always Continued PCs, the school only had ten computers. None of the old computers could receive updates since they couldn't connect to the web. The Always Connected PCs can connect to LTE networks directly, assuasive the PCs to stay upward to date and students to connect to the spider web.

The Kwazamokuhle Schoolhouse in Due south Africa is in a rural area and lacks the infrastructure to connect to the internet through broadband or wired connections. Dlamini Qaphela, a professor at the Kwazamokuhle School, states that "The learners were totally disadvantaged because they couldn't find the information."

Qaphela points out how Qualcomm-powered PCs can connect to the spider web easily, maxim, "Information technology's [the] same as a cellular phone. You simply click, then you'll run into that yous can connect."

The video also shows other Microsoft technologies that improve accessibility for learning. the Kwazamokuhle School is a schoolhouse for special students, many of which do good from technologies like Microsoft's Immersive Reader.
